13 - 15 maja 2026 r. prof. Robert Piętek uczestniczył w międzynarodowej konferencji “Seventy-Five Years of Ethiopian Studies: Voices Beyond Language, Cultures Beyond Borders” (Uniwersytet Warszawski).
Prof. R. Piętek wygłosił referat nt. "The reception of Christianity in the Kongo during the period of the first contacts with Portugal".
